An increasing number of people take delight in spending money on traveling and vacation, while some still persist in saving money for the future. As far as I am concerned, the former one can bring us more advantages. There are some reasons and examples to illustrate my point of view. The first benefit is that one can broaden his or her perspectives and learn more from others while traveling in other places. If people always stay in their own limited circles of life and work, it’s more likely that they may hold a narrow view. However, during a trip, one is bound to encounter lots of people with various experiences, from whom one can learn new customs and explore the unknown. As a result, one will obtain broad knowledge of different fields and get more confident. To illustrate, my sister enjoys traveling in her spare time and she has been to dozens of countries, where she experienced new cultures and met people from diverse countries. It opens up her mind and enables her to know more. In addition, traveling is a great way of relieving stress from a long period of hard work, and helps one work more efficiently afterwards. Nowadays, people are up to their ears in work and under great pressure. If people just focus on making money and don't relax, it will do harm to them both physically and mentally. Taking myself as an example, in my spare time, especially after studying or working hard for months, I always travel to another place to enjoy the local food and crisp air. When the journey ends, I could commit to work with full energy. Admittedly, saving money for the future is necessary for one’s life, and the cost of traveling is relatively high. However, as long as one can plan an affordable trip, it will not lead to a significant economic burden, or even you can also save some money after the trip.
